There was no change in the Morning Triples League top six after last week’s matches with the top three each notching two wins.
Highlight of the week was Dreamers’ 16-6 win over Seagulls where Kathleen Kimpton, Isabelle Cook and Pat Wolley scored a maximum of nine shots on one end when the score stood at 5-5, tipping the game Dreamers’ way.
Highgate Wanderers held on to top spot on shots difference which was greatly improved by their 42-2 thrashing of Two Plus One and 24-7 victory over Dreamers. Yorkies kept the pressure on with two wins, a rather more modest 14-10 result against Mudlarks and a simple 17-5 success against Magpies.
Third-placed The Jays stayed four points behind the top pair after winning 17-3 and 12-9, respectively, against Falcons and Seagulls who are two points adrift at the bottom.
In A Minute have found some form and recorded a good 12-8 win against Magpies before narrowly losing a tight game against Falcons 9-6. In the other game, Mudlarks beat Two Plus One 18-11.
