The gap at the top of the Louth Indoor Bowls Morning Triples League remained at two points as the top two teams both produced victories.
Leaders Highgate Wanderers had just the one game, but boosted their shots difference even further with a 22-9 win over The Jays, while second-placed Yorkies did their bit with victories against the bottom two teams.
They overcame stubborn resistance from Falcons to win 13-8 before beating Seagulls 18-6.
The top two are due to play each other this week and a win for Highgate would clinch the title, but victory for Yorkies would make for an interesting final couple of games for both teams.
Seagulls stayed bottom after they were edged out 16-15 by Two Plus One, but are just one point behind Falcons who lost 10-7 against Mudlarks.
Magpies failed to find any sort of form against The Jays, but somehow clawed their way back from 10-3 down to go into the final end at 10-10 before The Jays deservedly won 11-10. A different Magpies trio put up a decent show against Two Plus One, but faded in the closing stages and went down 17-11.
