Students from the Mablethorpe branch of the British Chinese Kickboxing Academy have made the grade after the club’s recent round of gradings.

Seven students received belts and the whole club has worked extremely hard over the past couple of months to build up their fitness and to improve on their fighting techniques.

Founder of the club, Stuart Hurren said: “None of those that graded disappointed me and all came through with flying colours.

The seven that received their new belts were Matthew Tordoff, who had his first grading and gained his white belt.

Dan Ransdem and Chloe Peach both double graded to gain both their white and yellow betls.

Craig Benson, Leo Burton, Jack Herbert and Tyler McCormack all gained their yellow belts.

Stuart continued: “All of the students did really well and are all looking forward to the bext grading session.”

If you would like to give martial arts a try, then why not pop down to the Station Sports Centre in Mablethorpe.
