Market Rasen and Louth RFC made it two wins out of two in Midlands One East as they beat Newark 27-12 on Saturday.

Ben Chamberlin scored the opening try before a lineout catch and drive put hooker Tom Alldridge in for a second score within 20 minutes.

The hosts hit back with two converted tries, with Louth skipper Chris Starling also crossing to give the visitors a slender 17-12 half-time lead.

Louth took advantage of a home sin binning as scrum-half Chris Everton and John Norman crossed to seal victory.
