Louth Tennis and Sports Centre Held a Red Nose Day Mini Tennis Tournament recently.
Each doubles pairing played several 10 point tie breaks and the eventual highest scoring two pairs played each other in a thrilling final.
The finalists were Katherine Hardcastle and Ed Winney and Joe Woolley and Lewis Fisher.
Katherine and Ed took the win 11-10 in an extremely close match which had spectators on their feet.
Coach Faye Button said: “The Mini Tennis Tournaments are proving a huge success.
“The great thing about them is the slow travelling speed of a sponge ball enables players of all abilities to compete against each other.
“Everyone had lots of fun in fancy dress and we raised plenty of money for a great cause”
The Louth Tennis Centre teenage mixed team also had a successful weekend winning a doubles friendly 6-0 against Tealby. Representing Louth were Bradley Bullas, Oliver Lyon, Clare Ballantyne and Lily Dicker.
