Louth slipped to ninth in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League when opponents Lindum took just 34 overs to reach their target of 207, winning by six wickets.

Visitors Louth set Lindum 207 to win thanks to an unbeaten 80 from Zeeshan Ahmed and a rapid 40 from Graham West.

Laurence Scott also chipped in with 30 to set what looked like a decent score for Louth.

But Lindum made light work of their chase, with William Wright smashing 79 from 76 balls and Luke Robibson hitting 58 from 44.

Only Tom Corden made an impact for Louth with two wickets as Lindum chased down the target with ease.

Louth are now just two places above the relegation zone having won just three of their 16 matches this season.
