MABLETHORPE will go Christmas crackers this December thanks to a new sponsorship deal.
Communications provider TalkTalk have agreed to provide a ‘substantial sponsorship boost’ for the event which will see a night of live music, stalls, Santa’s grotto, rides and carol singing in the High Street.
The night has been planned for Saturday, December 10 from 4pm-8pm.
Town manager Karen Froggatt is part of the organising team for the event along with the Mablethorpe Tourism Forum. She said: “It’s fantastic to see a company such as TalkTalk investing in Mablethorpe and we are enjoying getting the event organised.”
Town clerk Jen Cooper added: “With the financial support of TalkTalk we are able to enhance the festive fun in Mablethorpe. To be able to light up the town and provide Christmas fun for the people of Mablethorpe and visitors to the town is brilliant.
“Our event has something for everyone, so come along and enjoy a great family evening.”
Sponsors TalkTalk are rolling out £50,000 worth of technology to bring new broadband offers to Mablethorpe by expanding its Next Generation Network in the area.
Tristia Clarke, commercial director at TalkTalk said: “TalkTalk is making Mablethorpe a brighter town for everyone.”
