Down Your Wold is hosting a number of events as part of the Wolds Words Festival (October 15-19) this year.
Go along to Binbrook Village Hall on Tuesday October 14 (from 7-9pm) to hear the weird and wonderful details about Lincolnshire customs and folklore, offering an insight into otherwise unrecorded lives of the poorer classes. The evening is free to attend and includes live music from the celebrated Nigel Creasey & Teri Clarke.
Additionally, two sessions exploring Lincolnshire’s Medieval Graffiti will take place on Friday October 17. The first session takes place at Utterby Church from 10am to 12.30pm, and the second at St James’ Church House, Louth, from 2pm to 4.30pm.
Booking is essential; call 01507 609740. You will need a digital camera and an LED torch for a practical session.
