12 acts, two venues and Louth’s annual Oxjam Festival is back and plays part of the UK’s biggest ever charity music festival.

The festivities take place this Saturday (October 18).

This year’s Oxjam Festival 2014 is split over two venues; Louth Oxfam and The Kings Head.

Oxjam Louth, with the support of Magnet and Cone Audio and The Pump House Recording Studios, have lined up some of the region’s best bands and DJs for an all-day festival to raise money for Oxfam.

Oxjam Music Festival takes place every October and is made up of hundreds of events happening all around the UK.

This year, 12 different acts from the Louth area will take to the stage in what has been called the best celebration of local talent in years.

At 2pm at Oxfam in the Market Place will be performances from Me & My Shadow, Iza Moon and Jake Newby.

Performances in Oxfam are free ,but donations are requested.

Then at 7pm for the £5 ticketed event at The Kings Head Hotel, the acts include: Jessamine Grace, The Stallers, Loop Cycle, Mothership, Deejay 10k, Rainmaker, Jake Newby, Melos & Wednesday Amelia, Dave Simpson Trio and Dealo Brown.

Tickets can be bought in advance from Off The Beaten Tracks in Aswell Street and The Pump House Studios in Thames Street.
