The Saltfleet Sports and Social Field Gala committee will be holding their two-day gala this weekend.
The event will take place on the Saltfleet Sports and Social Field on Louth Road on the evening of Saturday August 9 and all day on the Sunday August 10.
Gates open at 5.30pm on the Saturday, and there will be performances from the Freestyle Entertainers, who will show off their fire eating and burlesque dancing skills, followed by a mythological creatures display.
The Rumble Band will make an appearance, and some local girls will be singing to raise money for the Marie Curie charity and the Saltfleet playing fields.
Children’s fun races begin at 6.30pm. Entry for the evening is £4 per adult and £1 per child, with free car parking.
On the Sunday, the day kicks off at 9am and there will be an all-day car boot sale, in addition to food stalls, bars, a tea tent, rides, stalls, fancy dress and animal corner.
At 11am there will be a parade through the village, followed by a big display from the Coastal Grazing Marshes and Heritage Lincolnshire.
There will also be classic cars and bikes, a tug-of-war, and Louth band ‘The Decades’ will be rocking back through the years.
The Sunday event is free admission for all, although there is a £1 car parking fee.
