ENJOY a performance of A Hard Act to Follow on Tuesday at Louth’s Riverhead Theatre.
John Hewer’s comedy focuses on Benjamin Lecrosse, a matinee idol of the 1960s who secures a title role in Hamlet. But the producers offer his understudy role to upcoming actor Paul Upshott, and the one-up-man-ship is a ‘riot of comic timing, characterisation and morality’.
The show takes place this Tuesday, September 27 from 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 and £6 concessions. Call the box office on 01507 600350 or visit www.hambledon productions.com .
The show also hits Skegness Embassy Theatre on Friday, September 30. Tickets are £8 and £6 and can be bought by calling 0845 6740505.
