Join the 78RPM Jazz Band for a musical tonic to dispel those winter blues as they present their ‘Musical Flu Jab (or Winter Sunshine Part Two)’ in Louth.
The performance will take place at 7.30pm on Sunday February 1 at the Riverhead Theatre.
The band have said that they will give the audience the show they should have had last year, and their music will provide “a strong cocktail of hot rhythm and sweet melody to ward off the lurgi that laid two of our number low last time”.
Louise Cookman is now fighting fit and in fine voice, and will be back to charm the audience once more, while Peter Horsfall, on trumpet, will also be returning after a nasty dose of flu last year.
They will be joined by Tom Wheatley (‘Archduke of the Double Bass’), Piers Clark (‘Tsar of the Rhythm Guitar’), Mark Allaway (‘Emperor of the Reeds’) and Martin Wheatley (‘Master of the Revels on all things fretted’).
Tickets are £13 and available by popping in to the Riverhead Theatre, or calling their Box Office on 01507 600350 between 10am and 1pm from Monday to Saturday.
