Dozens of tractors will plough on through the resort of Cleethorpes at the end of this month for the 12th annual Charity Tractor Rally Ride.

On Sunday, May 31, from 10am, the Promenade with be awash with a sea of colourful farm vehicles, all in aid of the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance Appeal.

The Cleethorpes Tractor Rally is also part of a ground-breaking four-day event which will see entrants attempt to complete the first known tractor triathlon.

The aim is to travel through the three counties of Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire in three days, raising money for charity through sponsorship.

Sophie Wignall, operations officer for tourism, said: “This is a great spectacle in Cleethorpes calendar of events. It really is amazing to see so many tractors together at one time.

“Come and watch the tractor rally and then enjoy the rest of the day in the resort.”
