Notts: Rescue Rooms gig on farewell tour for Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly will embark on The Farewell Tour in September - with one of the final live performances in Nottingham at the Rescue Rooms.

For a full decade, Sam Duckworth has existed artistically under the moniker of Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.

His debut album Chronicles of A Bohemian Teenager was released on Atlantic Records.

It went on to sell over 100,000 copies in the UK, establishing Sam as a writer with something to say and opening the door to 10 years and more of adventure.

Sam said: “It doesn’t feel right to just stay in London as there many people around the country who I’d love to sing these songs with one last time.”

Support for the Notts show - on Wednesday, 3rd September - will be folk-punk troubadour Sean McGowan.

“I would love it if you could join me in saying goodbye.”
