Disappointment over closure of Horncastle Youth Centre
The hopes of Horncastle Youth Centre Working Group to take on the freehold or leasehold of the Horncastle Youth Centre have been dashed, the Horncastle News can reveal.
The group say they submitted a formal business plan to Lincolnshire County Council back in March but have now been told the centre will remain closed.
A spokesman for the group said: “The Horncastle Youth Centre Working Group is deeply disappointed at this end to the negotiations.
“We remain very keen to discuss and work to ensure this valuable resource is saved for the town.”
