Phyllis celebrates 100th birthday
This is because Phyllis’ card came from The Queen and was sent to congratulate her on reaching her 100th birthday.
Phyllis was born in Lincolnshire, on February 14, 1916, the sixth of 10 children (five boys, five girls).

Hide AdShe married George in 1938 and the couple would go on to have a son together.
Phyllis, formerly of Wrangle, spent many years working on the land and looking after her husband and son and has lived in the area all her life.
Before residing in Wainfleet Care Home, Phyllis enjoyed attending lunch clubs and drove her car until she was 89-years-old to many of them.
A spokesman for the home said: “Even at the grand old age of 100, Phyllis is still enjoying life!”
