Worksop: Norbridge Academy is ‘Outstanding’, says glowing Ofsted report
The school was given a glowing report by the Ofsted inspection team, which judged the school as ‘Outstanding’ across all six areas of the inspection; which include leadership and management, behaviour and safety and achievement of pupils.
The school’s head teacher, George Huthart, said he was ‘thrilled’ that the inspection recognised the commitment and effort of everybody connected with the school.

Hide AdHe said: “We are thrilled with the findings of the recent Ofsted inspection.”
“To be labelled as an Outstanding school is a great recognition of the commitment that staff, children, parents and governors have put in to make our school an exciting place to learn.”
In its inspection report, the academy was praised for a wide variety of areas, with the leadership and management team described as ‘inspiring’ and noted for the support it gives teachers and pupils.
Children at the school were described as showing a great enthusiasm for learning, which helps them to make rapid progress during their time at the school.

Hide AdThe report also comments on the quality of teaching atNorbridge, describing teachers as ‘inspirational in their work and able to motivate pupils so that they want to learn.’ The quality of marking is also described as being of ‘the highest standard.’
Mr Huthart added:“I am proud to be a part of the success we have had.”
“The results and progress of children at Norbridge are the best they have ever been and we will continue to work hard to help children develop and fulfil their potential.”
“Our school belief system is to Be the Best We Can Be and this is a vision that both children and adults share.”
